In our recent field visit, we engaged in productive discussions with the Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Sheshkanta Poudel and the Environment Officer, Mr. Santosh Kafle. We outlined our objectives to enhance the capacity of duty bearers in developing GEDSI Action Plans and integrating gender data into provincial and local climate and DRR plans. Their enthusiastic support underscores our shared commitment to these vital goals.
A key highlight of our visit was the formation of a new womenโs group in Ward 4 of the rural municipality. This group, composed of members from the Dalit and indigenous communities, will benefit from REFLECT training sessions designed to empower and elevate their voices and leadership.
