As part of our ongoing efforts to amplify community voices in climate and disaster resilience, our project team alongside Ms. Mehtap Tatar (she/her) , Deputy Country Representative of UN Women Nepal, and womenโs group representatives from other project areas visited the womenโs group in Ward 4, Methinkot, Namobuddha Municipality.
This group, formed under the project โ๐๐ถ๐ช๐ญ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏโ๐ด ๐๐ญ๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ช๐ด๐ข๐ด๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ ๐๐ฆ๐ด๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ ๐ฃ๐บ ๐๐ต๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ญ๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ณ๐ต ๐๐ช๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐๐ฏ๐ค๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ด๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ-๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด๐ช๐ท๐ฆ ๐๐ญ๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด,โ led a transformative 16-week REFLECT session. The sessions created a space for participatory dialogue on climate change, environmental challenges, disaster preparedness, and womenโs rights.
During our visit, the women shared their reflections, stories, and learnings. not just through words, but also through art, songs, and poetry. These creative expressions powerfully captured the groupโs journey of leadership, awareness, and collective action.
Their voices affirmed that resilience is not only about infrastructure or policy, but also about community consciousness, solidarity, and storytelling.
