The endorsement events were successfully held with the active participation of local government representatives including Chairpersons/Mayors, Deputy Chairpersons/Deputy mayors, Chief Administrative Officers, and department heads of environment, law, agriculture, women’s affairs, along with other staff, together with our dedicated project teams from Clim Adapt, HIMAWANTI Nepal, and CDAFN .
This collective achievement marks a critical step forward in integrating GEDSI principles into local climate change and disaster risk reduction policies, ensuring that vulnerable and marginalized groups are prioritized in resilience-building efforts.
We extend our gratitude to the municipalities for their commitment to inclusive governance and look forward to continued collaboration in implementing these guidelines on the ground.
