With over 40% of Nepalโs land affected by degradation, this timely workshop convened diverse stakeholders, from policymakers and scientists to development practitioners and local leaders, to explore how Nature-Based Solutions can restore degraded landscapes, strengthen resilience, and support sustainable livelihoods.
Key sessions explored global and national NbS practices, financing mechanisms, community-led adaptation, and strategies to integrate NbS into Nepalโs land degradation neutrality and climate change policies.
We are very grateful to collaborate with government bodies, UN agencies, and civil society partners on this critical agenda. Together, we are committed to scaling practical, inclusive, and locally driven solutions for a more climate-resilient Nepal.
