With over 40% of Nepal’s land affected by degradation, this timely workshop convened diverse stakeholders, from policymakers and scientists to development practitioners and local leaders, to explore how Nature-Based Solutions can restore degraded landscapes, strengthen resilience, and support sustainable livelihoods.

Key sessions explored global and national NbS practices, financing mechanisms, community-led adaptation, and strategies to integrate NbS into Nepal’s land degradation neutrality and climate change policies.
