This guidebook documents the Women Learning Centre (WLC) model as a transformative, community-based platform that strengthens women’s leadership, collective action, and climate resilience, drawing on practical experiences from five women learning centres located in five municipalities of two districts (Sindhuli and Kavrepalanchowk) in central Nepal. This guide provides step-by-step guidance on establishing and operationalizing WLCs using a gender-responsive, disability-inclusive, and feminist climate justice approach. The publication serves as a practical resource for local governments, practitioners, and development actors working to localize inclusive climate and disaster risk reduction actions.
