Climate change has been growing as a primary area of concerns for all, with growing experiences of its adverse and intersecting impacts across different sectors. In this context, integrating climate change considerations to the policies and programs is critical to strengthening climate resilience. Recognizing the importance of integrating climate change considerations to plans and programs, The Asia Foundation have also built the SNGP programme with climate actions as one of the integral components.

As a part of the SNGP Programme, two-day capacity building program was organized, dedicated for the SNGP/TAF staffs working with different subnational government across the country. The major objective of the program was to strengthen their understanding and practical capacities on climate change and related issues and develop strategic action pathways to integrate climate change into their immediate activities together with provincial and local government.
